Lazy bowel syndrome is among the most common sufferings in civilized world. Adynamia (lack of physical loads), improper nutrition and stress are the main causes for the irregular function of intestines.
The World Health Organisation determines the standard of once every 3 days to 3 times per day as a defecation (to have a bowel movement) standard.
Lazy bowel symptoms can be easily recognised and are very typical – difficult and insufficient bowel movement, bad taste in the mouth, loss of appetite, abdomen swelling and pains, irritation, skin disorders.
As a solution of these issues, and based on the consultations with Bulgarian herbalists, healers and scientists, we at Velevi Pharma developed Laxilin – capsule and syrup form. The product is an alternative of laxatives and contains folia sennae. During the recent years, folia sennae has been studied by many authors who came to the conclusion that its long-term use is not recommended. Scientists found that the glucosides extracted from folia sennae, the so called sennosides, have genotoxic and mutagenic effect on the colon mucosa thus increasing the risk of development of carcinoma.
Laxilin is a laxative preparation made of medicinal plans. Capsules contain purified extracts of buckthorn, yellow toadflax, flax seed and mint. Syrup contains the same extracts, except for flax seed.
